Certified instructor description: A playful Latin dance workout that's taught with an easy-to-learn, not-too-serious attitude. You'll be having fun and burning fat with varied dances like Cha Cha, Cumbia, Salsa and Merengue. Susan's cuing makes them totally doable. She begins each set with a short "practice" series — just a few steps to give you a feel for the music. Then she adds on the arms and smoothly develops a full combination (which she later alternates with combos you're learned previously). Her cuing is light-hearted and cheerful — she keeps the other exercisers motivated and having fun. The first program is a little easier; the second includes a few ab-toning elements (e.g. side-to-side twists, double knee lifts). Upbeat Latin vocal music. ©2010. DVD has: Chapter menus, Music only option.

Susan Tuttle's Latin Sensation

Great way to practice Latin Dancing at home
A fun workout to keep you in shape for dancing. I used this video to prepare for returning to Zumba classes. All of these steps are common to Zumba classes. This instructor helps you get familiar with fluid Latin movement and Latin beat. I was really glad I practiced at home, first. It helped and I still use this. - posted by Little Z on 3/7/2012
Great Latin Dance Party!
I loved the Music, Pace, Instruction, and Everything about this workout, Latin Sensation! Easy to follow with Susan Tuttle's spot on cueing. Sometimes when you do a new dance workout for the first time you may have to stop the dvd and go back to relearn the steps, but with Susan's good instruction, showing you the steps a few times before getting started in the workout you don't have to stop and relearn. She offers a good blend of repetitive progressions in each block of routines, which in no way makes it boring, but rather enables you to actually get the step progressions without having to stop dancing and relearn anything. I bought both of Susan's Latin dance dvds and do them everyday. I hope she brings more to us Latin Dance Lovers soon! - posted by Patty on 1/19/2012

Boring for me!
This was way too slow for me...First time with this instructor and last time. I did not feel a connection with her at all and it was so slow that I stopped after 10 minutes....Disappointing. - posted by Nadia on 12/18/2011
Reading a Time Graph
X
Each workout shows a time graph of the workout sequence, from beginning to end. For example, this workout starts with a 10-minute warm-up and ends with a 10-minute stretch. In between, you'll do aerobics, then toning, then a cooldown.

Segments that include both aerobics & toning
Some workouts combine aerobics and toning. If the aerobics and toning are done at the same time, you'll see a "blended" graph. If the aerobics and toning are done in short, alternating intervals, you'll see an "interval" graph.

Chapter menus
X
You can play only the individual workout segments you want by picking them off a chapter menu (one at a time).
Music only option
X
This feature allows you to play only the music, without any cuing (after you’ve learned the movements and you just want to do the workout without listening to the instruction).
