Certified instructor description: A varied mix of proven dumbbell routines especially modified for seniors (“real” exercises designed to build strength and endurance). For safety and comfort, every move is performed either seated or standing behind a chair (in separate segments, so you can choose the style you prefer). The modifications are very well-planned; they range from subtle hand-position changes to more extensive movement options. Craig Marcacci is a veteran seniors’ instructor; his cuing is easy-to-follow and never condescending. Exercisers range from 55 to 75 years old. Quiet instrumental music. Requires 1 to 5 lb. dumbbells (Craig suggests two weight levels). ©2007. DVD has:

    Our favorite |
| Very easy to follow. Challenging. Just the right number of repetitions. A serious, thoughtful presentation for our seniors ages 85 to 101! - posted by Alice on 4/3/2012 |

GREAT FOR US OLDER PEOPLE!!! |
| I like this DVD very much. I do aerobics regularly on the Wii but did not feel I was getting the strength training that I wanted. I first got 30 Minutes to Fitness with Kelly Coffey-Meyer but it was too much for me so I decided on Easy Does It. It is a very good work out. The exercises are a good mixture of stretching & weights & you can use whatever weight is comfortable to you. My husband who has worked out regularly for years with weights & yoga did it one day with me & he was impressed. I highly recommend this for seniors or even younger people who are just starting an exercise program. - posted by Evelyn on 3/25/2012 |

Just what I have been looking for |
| I am an active 65 yr old and need this to keep conditioned for my usual activities. I know it will strengthen me in areas that are weak. By doing this video every other day I have relief from lower back and and hip issues. It is very do-able no matter how I am feeling. I consider this video a major plus to my well being. Thank you - posted by Carol on 3/1/2012 |

The "Easy Does It" video |
| I had to check my own video just now to make sure we were talking about the same one. Each time I do the workout (and love it) I think of it as my "stretching" video, without the emphasis on dumbbells. At any rate, when I am finished, I'm proud that I took the time out of my day to relax, stretch and strengthen what seems like every part of my body. Often, I mute the sound and if you play this video a few times, you'll know what I mean. All in all, it's a great, safe video for someone 81+ with one repaired hip, and a bit of arthritis in the other hip. - posted by Pat on 2/17/2012 |

| I bought this DVD for my wife. She likes it and has been doing the exercises with pleasure. They are easy to follow and a good workout for somebody who is not a "young chicken" anymore. - posted by Luis on 12/18/2011 |

Worth adding to the routine. |
| My husband likes this video routine the best of those we own. For me, some of the moves and positions are not workable, because the angles are wrong for my joints, or because I'm too short (five feet) for the chair exercise positions. So, I have to sit out a chunk of the routine. On the plus side: the instructor is pleasant, very clear, and always lets you know exactly where you are in every exercise. I find this DVD worth adding to our collection, but others are more helpful for me. - posted by Judith on 11/17/2011 |

    Liked It |
| Good workout for those of us with issues who require us to do a gentler type of workout. However, I must say that the exercises where he tells you to slump in the chair a little bit, left my lower back sore. Not sure that is so great for the spine. - posted by SAF on 11/9/2011 |

    Love It! |
| He gives great instructions. He is also very easy on the eyes, that it takes your mind off of the exercise you are doing so that it doesn't seem so boring. I think young girls/women would enjoy doing these exercises just to watch him. - posted by Sandra on 10/21/2011 |

    Fine instruction |
| Senior fitness is one of the best aids for getting in shape again after going without exercise for a while. My husband and I really enjoy the calm instruction and knowledgeable instructor. - posted by Ruth on 10/20/2011 |
