Certified instructor description: Three totally non-intimidating workouts filmed on a tranquil Bahamian beach. The programs have a unique spontaneity and authenticity because they were created “in the moment.” Sara didn’t pre-plan the moves. Instead, she let her feelings and surroundings guide the movement selection (so every pose isn’t perfect, and she doesn’t expect yours to be perfect either). “Sunrise” is the first workout; it’s the most challenging with the largest variety of positions. “High Noon” is next; it’s focused on breath and balance. “Sunset” is the last program; it’s designed to calm your mind and body at day’s end. Instrumental music with soft, yoga-style chanting. ©2008. DVD has: Wide screen.

Sara Ivanhoe's Yoga on the Edge

Always Love Sara
I think everything Sara Ivanhoe does is good, and this is no exception. I especially like the background music for yoga, which I've heard before but can't think of where. And the background. Great video. I wish Sara did more of them. - posted by Marilyn on 6/2/2011
Great yoga workout
This is a terrific addition to anyone's yoga collection. Sara is always warm, comforting and supportive. The scenery alone is worth the price. All three workouts are very enjoyable to do. I highly recommend this dvd. - posted by Diane on 3/24/2011
Peaceful calming
Sara Ivanhoe has such a calming peaceful voice for yoga instruction. It mesmerizes your mind into focusing on the movement and breath and promotes total relaxation. - posted by Jennifer on 3/3/2011
Yoga on the Edge
I purchased this video about six months ago and gave it to a friend, because it was too hard. During those six months, I practiced Sarah Ivanhoe's 20 minute yoga sessions. Having purchased "Yoga on the Edge" a second time, I see the progress I have made. Although still challenging, these routines really give your body a workout, and feel so good. The background music is soothing, and Sarah's smooth voice and gentle commentary inspire. - posted by Melanie on 2/15/2011
Love this dvd!
I love all of the yoga on this tape. She is easy to follow and the music and her words are very soothing and relaxing. I would highly recommend this to everyone whether you are a beginner or a seasoned practitioner! - posted by sue on 2/3/2011

bad editing
I loved the idea of Sara filming in the Bahamas and the promise of 3 practices on 1 DVD. Unfortunately the production value and editing is very bad! The sunset routine is ok but ruined by the fact that you can only see her outline, she is in total shadow. The high noon is totally out of focus, badly edited- plus it has no warm up. The sunrise routine is pretty good but again, out of focus and badly edited! This DVD doesn't even come in a case, just a flimsy cardboard sleeve. I was very disappointed. - posted by Trish on 11/15/2010
Great DVD
I knew I would like this video and I was right. Challenging but calming. The different emphasis on each session is great. - posted by Laura on 7/15/2010
Smooth and challenging yoga
The video draws you in and along a natural process. Sometimes Sara's voice is hard to hear. I video makes me feel good about expanding my yoga practice. - posted by Liz on 7/1/2010
Favorite yoga dvd
I love this one! I wanted a yoga workout that I could do at night to help me stretch after a long day at the computer and de-stress. The Sunset workout is exactly what I wanted! I feel so loose and relaxed after I do it...fantastic for the end of the day. I really like the Sunrise workout also. Its both physically challenging and interesting. I like it much better than some of the "fitness" yoga videos (such as the Jillian Michaels one) that always seem to be 30 minutes of boring plank pose. Sarah's Sunrise workout always leaves me tired and sore, but also refreshed and energized. - posted by Stephanie on 5/6/2010
