Certified instructor description: An effective and playful way to extend — or start — your yoga practice. You get a two-workout DVD, an 18-inch inflatable ball, a pump, a yoga strap and two yoga gloves. The first workout uses the ball for a huge variety of yoga-style exercises. The ball has the perfect size and comfort level to properly position your body while simplifying many difficult poses (e.g. your back is supported during “upward facing dog” by lying on the ball). In addition, the ball is just plain fun. The second program uses the 6-foot strap. It also improves positioning while allowing deeper, full-body extensions (by giving you something to pull against). Superbly filmed on volcanic rocks next to the ocean.©2010. DVD has: Wide screen.

Great Little Workouts!
What can I say? It's Rodney, it's great!! - posted by Sandy on 11/17/2011
pretty good yoga workout
Ok, stated for beginners or those with some limitations, but I found it good for me (not an expert, but maybe advanced) especially when I have an issue that means I need a bit more support or an alternate position/posture. I actually feel more back opening using the ball than when I try the same pose without (I think it prevents compensating movements). The only thing I had an issue with was the slightly quicker transitions in a few poses...especially when moving with the ball...it took a few more practices til I was able to move smoother (not quite to smoothly yet) between moves. I love the 10 minute strap work out...I really felt more aligned and I hope he has another strap work out coming. As usual I love his verbal cues and descriptions and the calming music/sounds and sights. Perfect for an end of the day and ready to relax time. - posted by Lara on 8/18/2011
Rodney is great again!
I have to admit I'm a great fan of Rodney's to begin with, but this is a great DVD. Not the usual standard yoga. I have enjoyed incorporating the ball into my exercise routine and now there is a yoga form also. Great stretch and core balancing. - posted by Rita on 6/23/2011
Great non-intimidating intro to yoga
He has a great voice; quiet w/o being annoying. Love it! - posted by JULIE on 12/16/2010
Perfect Yoga Workout
Excellent yoga workout for anyone beginning a yoga program or for older adults (such as myself, who's 48). Step by step vocal instruction. (You don't have to keep looking at the tv to see what he's doing.) Not strenuous at all. Highly recommend. - posted by Karen on 12/2/2010

Reading a Time Graph
X
Each workout shows a time graph of the workout sequence, from beginning to end. For example, this workout starts with a 10-minute warm-up and ends with a 10-minute stretch. In between, you'll do aerobics, then toning, then a cooldown.

Segments that include both aerobics & toning
Some workouts combine aerobics and toning. If the aerobics and toning are done at the same time, you'll see a "blended" graph. If the aerobics and toning are done in short, alternating intervals, you'll see an "interval" graph.
