Prevention: Belly, Butt & Thighs

Just what I needed
I love this workout. I've been working out from videos from Collage for about 11 years now. This videos one of my favorites. When I'm crunched for time or even when I'm not in the mood to workout, this video gets the job done. It's easy enough to follow and motivational as well. I get enough of a burn to feel good the rest of the day. Plus, I love that is targets those "special" areas. - posted by Michele on 11/15/2011
I Keep Coming Back to This One
I'm a jogger normally but wanted to be able to exercise year round and gyms are too far and expensive. I don't have a large collection of exercise DVD's at this point but I found I keep coming back to this one, especially when I'm short on time. Ms. Freytag is very motivating and supportive without being obnoxious; I really like her presentation. The workout is short but surprisingly effective and also gets my heart pumping so I know I'm burning fat as well. I hate it when I dread an upcoming section on a tape but I really enjoy all of the exercises on this tape and feel great and energized after completing it. I feel my body changing and becoming more toned. I look forward to owning more Prevention DVD's. - posted by Susan on 11/5/2010
I love this workout

Favorite Prevention video
I use this one if I am short on time or when I am getting back into exercising after having a period of very little exercise. I like it because even though it is short it is effective, I feel it in my legs the next day. However, I have never been sore in my abs. I do like Chris Freytag as an instructor also. She is friendly, motivating, and informative. One annoying thing about some Prevention videos is that you do not have the option to get directly to the menu for the program. So I just put the video in first, leaving the TV off, and while it plays through the intro I put on my shoes. - posted by Jodi on 6/9/2009
Nice quick toning

I Love It
I think that this is an awesome workout. It works all over your abs and your lower body in just 10 minutes each. It even has a bit of cardio so I know that I am burning calories and blasting fat in my body. I just love this workout. I can’t complement it enough. Chris Freytag is such a great motivator and she keeps me going through all the workouts. And each workout so complete, nothing is missing. It works it all. I would recommend this workout to anyone. Good But Not the Best Prevention Video
I have about 5 Prevention videos, and I have found I really like them because they focus on specific goals and target areas, but Belly, Butt, and Thighs is my least favorite of them because it's really hard on the knees. Practically the whole video is made up of squats and lunges. I'm 47 and I'm an experienced exerciser. The types of exercises are varied and easy to follow along. However, to get real results (which I think you really would), it would be too hard on your knees if you did this tape regularly. If you don't have that problem, go for it-it'll really target the areas the tape claims. Prevention videos are also good about giving you tips on proper form and dieting tips too. Good for a quick work out

Ouch! Not for Beginners!
I bought this and tried it for the first time tonight. Before popping this DVD in, I did my Leslie Sansone 2 mile walk first. This BB and T DVD is not for someone who has either problem knees or lower back issues. Most of it requires constant straining and pressure on the knees and the abs section can strain the back if you're not careful. I ended up doing a few of the exercises-modified versions of them. I guess this would be really good for someone who's in great shape. I've been working out since February and this DVD is too hard for me. No, thanks. SHORT ON TIME!
i found this tape to do the trick if you are short on time and need a quick fix or you can add it to the end of another workout for very effective results. i was hesitant to buy this thinking it would be to easy and i wouldn't get anything out of it. but, boy was i wrong. i have been doing this tape for about 4 weeks 5 days a week and have found amazing results in all three areas. try it and you won't be disappointed... - posted by DANIELLE on 8/15/2007

Reading a Time Graph

Each workout shows a time graph of the workout sequence, from beginning to end. For example, this workout starts with a 10-minute warm-up and ends with a 10-minute stretch. In between, you'll do aerobics, then toning, then a cooldown.

Some workouts combine aerobics and toning. If the aerobics and toning are done at the same time, you'll see a "blended" graph. If the aerobics and toning are done in short, alternating intervals, you'll see an "interval" graph.
