    Love this workout! |
| Wow, Ilaria is a seriously ripped woman! But fear not, as soon as you get going, she throws a gentle smile your way every now and then. | I've heard people say that, like Pilates, you either love or hate kickboxing. Well, I love kickboxing, and I give all credit to Ilaria Montagnani. First of all, she "walks the walk" in that she's incredibly fit, and seeing her impeccable form and professionalism make me want to do more and get in even better shape. I had a couple of technical issues with the actual DVD in that I needed to ask Collage for two replacements, but two great customer service agents later, I had a working copy and did the workout (about five times so far) and like it more and more. There is "choreography" to memorize, but it's not "Dancing with the Stars" or step or dread-factor-interval training a la Michelle Dozois-- there is footwork, but Ilaria Montagnani cues really well and by the second time, you'll feel more comfortable with the steps (if you don't pick it up the first time around)! If you're on the fence, I highly suggest you just buy it and try it yourself. I personally think this is MUCH BETTER than Tae Bo, and I do like Billy Blanks a lot. Check out other videos from Montagnani, too! This is the second DVD I've tried from her-- the first being Atletica-- and I plan to get more. - posted by Nicole on 2/4/2012 |

    surprisingly challenging |
| I'm used to faster paced cardio kickboxing routines, so I did not expect to be adequately challenged by this workout. However, I was wrong. Simply adjusting my focus and increasing my concentration on precision and power made a great difference in the intensity level. Ilaria's cuing is clear, and her form is inspiring in its perfection. I didn't find the routines to be repetitious or boring at all. | I have become a real fan of Ilaria. I think she is an excellent instructor. My heart rate goes up, I work up quite the sweat but my 50+ year old joints don't have to suffer. | I enjoy this workout. The routines are easy to learn. Ilaria is pleasant. She goes through punch and kick to ensure that they are done properly so as to protect joints and back and to make sure you're getting the most out of each one. Although her help smiles the entire time it's not annoying. Some workouts you look forward to doing and some you don't. I don't dread this one at all and know I'm getting a good overall workout. | I love this workout. The moves are basic and the instructor makes it easy to follow along by 'adding on'. I've been doing kickbox for a few years and this is the most challenging video I have...definitely got my heart rate up. I would definitely buy more videos by Ilaria. The only thing I don't like is the menu set-up ...or lack of. You have to listen through the basics each time - you can't go right to the workout. It's only about 5 minutes but still when I'm pressed for time I don't want to listen to it. - posted by Karen on 6/2/2011 |

    Powerstrike good workout and skillfully done |
| I was looking for a good cardio kickboxing workout. Have been using Billy Blanks Taebo Live series. I was especially concerned that Powerstrike show correct form to protect from injuries too. I am very please with Ilaria's Powerstrike workout and in time plan to order other of her kickboxing workouts. I found that she has good solid martial arts background in Karate besides kickboxing and trust her form that she teaches. It is a tough workout and I think is some harder than Taebo and even better rounded. Nice job! - posted by John Wilkinson on 4/22/2011 |
