Certified instructor description: Three progressively-more-challenging workouts that use light weights to tone your arms as they maximize calorie-burning. Never complicated or hard to follow — these are all simple, walking-style moves like kicks, marches and knee lifts (as always, energized by Leslie's enthusiastic and supportive attitude). The first two programs are pure aero/tone blends — your legs are constantly in motion while your arms are constantly pumping the weights. The third workout is harder; it combines blended aero/tone segments with all-cardio sections (very fast paced). No distracting class members, Leslie teaches one-on-one. Requires 1 to 3 lb. dumbbells or Leslie's 2 lb. hand/wrist weights. ©2011 (originally released in 2009). DVD has: Music only option, Region 1.

LESLIE'S BURN BODY FAT & SCULPT YOUR ARMS (2010)
This DVD has three miles in 48 minutes which includes a 5 minute cool down. You can use hand weights. This has more strength and walking combination than my other Leslie DVDs so I can alternate for total body workout. - posted by Nancy on 4/12/2012
Burn Body Fat by Leslie Sanson
I loved this DVD. I needed some arm toning and this will do the job - posted by Pam on 4/12/2012
Love this work out!!!
I try to work this in my rotation every week or two. I just did all six miles this past Saturday. It is awesome. Yes, Leslie's moves are simple and the same moves, but they work all the right spots. Who needs difficult, fancy moves to work out? I sure don't. Thanks for another great work out Leslie!!! - posted by Toni on 3/29/2012
boring
this workout is the same old boring stuff as her other workouts. she should really try to come up with some new moves instead of repeating the same ones over and over just in different sequence. - posted by lee on 3/26/2012
I love this dvd
I tried this for the 2nd tome today.. I did all 3 miles together and I just loved it. Got my heart rate up, got me sweaty, and gave my arms a really great workout!!! - posted by pam on 3/22/2012
"I Love this Workout"
Its really simple and easy to do, but I get a good workout. I love the fact that I have a choice to either walk the 1, 2, 3 miles, either way all three workouts is great. It was a great buy, and I'm glad that I made that choice. - posted by Kimberly on 3/22/2012
Leslie at her best
I totally enjoyed doing all three of the workouts on this DVD. Leslie is motivating and fun to workout with. I was a bit puzzled that only the first workout had the minute countdown, but that's OK. As in my review of the other Leslie video I bought, I gave it 4 stars because of the uninspiring studio background. Someone once mentioned that it would be great if she did a walk workout outside. At any rate, she is a wonderful instructor who does great workouts. - posted by Tipi on 3/9/2012
Three for Three
I bought three new Leslie Sansone DVDs and like them all. I also like using weights after a long dry spell without them. I like 5 miles workouts the best but this one is also good. I like that Leslie is adding little changes or add-ons to her basic 4 steps. It makes it fun to have a little more variety. More programs with music only options would be nice. - posted by MaryLou on 3/3/2012

Reading a Time Graph
X
Each workout shows a time graph of the workout sequence, from beginning to end. For example, this workout starts with a 10-minute warm-up and ends with a 10-minute stretch. In between, you'll do aerobics, then toning, then a cooldown.

Segments that include both aerobics & toning
Some workouts combine aerobics and toning. If the aerobics and toning are done at the same time, you'll see a "blended" graph. If the aerobics and toning are done in short, alternating intervals, you'll see an "interval" graph.

Music only option
X
This feature allows you to play only the music, without any cuing (after you’ve learned the movements and you just want to do the workout without listening to the instruction).
Region 1
X
This DVD is designed for US and Canadian DVD players. It will NOT play in most foreign country players.
Level
X
Beginner: Just starting out, very overweight or haven't exercised in over six months.

Intermediate: Active in sports, dance or any regular exercise (2 to 3 times per week).

Advanced: Very active in sports or consistently work out four or more times per week.

Aerobics impact
X
Lower Impact: Both feet never leave the ground at the same time. This minimizes stress on your knees.

Higher Impact: Includes movements like jumps, hops and skips. Very high-impact is called plyometrics.

Mixed Impact: This alternates or combines the above styles.

Aerobics choreography
X
Basic: The easiest to follow. It ranges from simple walking-style marches to sports and athletic movements.

Complex: More intricate combinations and patterns. They're ideal for people who like to dance.

Moderate: More interesting than Basic, less dancy than Complex.

Toning emphasis
X
Upper body: Arms, chest and back.

Lower Body: Legs, thighs, hips and buttocks.

Abs: Abdominals (stomach), core and sometimes lower back.

Total body: Tones all three of the above muscle groups.

Floor aerobics & toning
X
Definition: Includes two workout activities. The aerobics segments are fast-paced standing movements like marching, dancing and jumping. These segments require no equipment. The toning sections are slow, controlled movements working against a resistance. These may include Pilates and weight training.

Benefits: The combination of both activities provides a balanced workout. The aerobics burns calories, strengthens your heart and increases stamina. The toning builds lean muscles, increases your metabolism and makes everyday activities easier.
