Walk Your Belly Flat
love it! - posted by Mitzi on 4/12/2012
Walk Your Belly Flat
This tape is exactly what I wanted. I wanted a fast pace and this tape is fast. If you are looking for a change from slow to medium speed this is your tape. Another feature that I like is the option to chose l, 2, or 3 miles. I highly recommend this tape. - posted by Barbara on 4/5/2012
Another winning workout by Leslie
I have become an avid fan of Leslie's over the last couple of years. With her workouts, you know you are getting a quality product and this DVD is no exception. The only reason I gave this workout 4 stars is that I'm not crazy about the black background studio. Fortunately her newer videos are in a light and bright studio. - posted by Tipi on 3/9/2012
Great
These are the best workouts ever easy to follow and effective. - posted by Linda on 12/1/2011
LOVE THIS ONE
I prefer Leslie by herself. I have a lot of her workouts and she tends to get silly in a group. I do this workout when I don't have a lot of time and I need to do a lighter day of cardio. This one is perfect. I like the fast pace and that she boosts one of the miles. Every time she walks up and back I jog so I am kind of boosting them all. This is great for me when I need a break from all of the strength training, advanced choreography step that I do, as well as the interval workouts that I do. I always come back to this one. If you are someone who does all lower impact but want the intensity, you will love this. Get it. - posted by J on 11/30/2011
Good Work Out! Too much talking.
Love Leslie's work outs. They work great for me and I have a few different ones. It would be great if she talked a little less or there was an option to turn off her voice and just have the music. Her instructions are great when you first start out but after you know the routine can be annoying. - posted by Beth on 11/5/2011
Walking That Belly Flat
Not only am I walking the Belly Flat but I am also whittling away the waist-line. I lost almost 4 inches from my waist, my hips, bust and thighs, from doing this dvd and walking outside! I'm also eating better foods. This dvd really made me sweat. I love Leslie's chattiness and she definitely keeps me motivated. The moves are easy and she encourages you to keep going even if you don't get the moves right. She even taught me that walking not crunches will get rid of the belly fat. Keep up the good work Leslie and stay chatty!!! - posted by Midget on 10/26/2011
Leslie is just GREAT
I have been a walker for 30 years. Recently I've had a problem with my hip and leg when I walk outside. I missed my walks and saw Leslie's Walk At Home workouts. I tried a few and just fell in love with Leslie and her whole walking crew. I get a much better workout with Leslie and can walk at anytime of day or night, in any kind of weather. I also get a great workout with her strength training with the bands and her pilates. I must really love her workouts, I now have 18 different ones. I like the variety of the workouts she makes available to all of us. Just can't say enough good things. Would be a great workout for anyone. - posted by Cheryl on 10/21/2011
Classic Leslie
This is a great workout! It may be the same old boring black backdrop and music Leslie has used in so many other workouts, but it is very effective. I especially love how motivating she is in this one. She says some things that help me realize how important it is to always workout. These three miles along with the ab work make me sweat! - posted by Becky on 4/10/2011
Really good workout
I love this dvd from Leslie. I have other Leslie workout dvds and this one really makes me sweat and burn the calories. - posted by DB on 3/3/2011

Reading a Time Graph
X
Each workout shows a time graph of the workout sequence, from beginning to end. For example, this workout starts with a 10-minute warm-up and ends with a 10-minute stretch. In between, you'll do aerobics, then toning, then a cooldown.

Segments that include both aerobics & toning
Some workouts combine aerobics and toning. If the aerobics and toning are done at the same time, you'll see a "blended" graph. If the aerobics and toning are done in short, alternating intervals, you'll see an "interval" graph.

Chapter menus
X
You can play only the individual workout segments you want by picking them off a chapter menu (one at a time).
Level
X
Beginner: Just starting out, very overweight or haven't exercised in over six months.

Intermediate: Active in sports, dance or any regular exercise (2 to 3 times per week).

Advanced: Very active in sports or consistently work out four or more times per week.

Aerobics impact
X
Lower Impact: Both feet never leave the ground at the same time. This minimizes stress on your knees.

Higher Impact: Includes movements like jumps, hops and skips. Very high-impact is called plyometrics.

Mixed Impact: This alternates or combines the above styles.

Aerobics choreography
X
Basic: The easiest to follow. It ranges from simple walking-style marches to sports and athletic movements.

Complex: More intricate combinations and patterns. They're ideal for people who like to dance.

Moderate: More interesting than Basic, less dancy than Complex.

Toning emphasis
X
Upper body: Arms, chest and back.

Lower Body: Legs, thighs, hips and buttocks.

Abs: Abdominals (stomach), core and sometimes lower back.

Total body: Tones all three of the above muscle groups.

Floor aerobics & toning
X
Definition: Includes two workout activities. The aerobics segments are fast-paced standing movements like marching, dancing and jumping. These segments require no equipment. The toning sections are slow, controlled movements working against a resistance. These may include Pilates and weight training.

Benefits: The combination of both activities provides a balanced workout. The aerobics burns calories, strengthens your heart and increases stamina. The toning builds lean muscles, increases your metabolism and makes everyday activities easier.
