Certified instructor description: A three-mile, super-easy-to-follow fat-burner that includes a few new “walk” variations (e.g. double step-touch, grapevine). The added moves are designed to boost variety and engage more muscles. They’re all combined with Leslie’s traditional four steps to provide a balanced, every-plane-of-motion program (e.g. forward/backward, left/right ... even diagonally, with your arms moving across your chest). For further variety, the three “miles” are each done at a different tempo. DVD also includes 14 minutes of healthy cooking information. ©2009. DVD has: Chapter menus.

Leslie Sansone's Walk Off 10 Pounds

One of Leslie's Best
I have many of Leslie's DVDs. I tend to use them when I want to get in a decent workout, but don't want to push myself too hard. I also use them when my kids work out with me. But with THIS one, I kick the kids out of the room so I can listen to Leslie. Her words are filled with inspiration and motivation, much more so than usual, and I work up a decent sweat. I've actually recommended this one to friends who are struggling with yo-yo dieting or want to make changes in their lives. I try to do this one once a week, and it's always the one I pull out when I'm feeling down or lack motivation. She charges me back up! - posted by Yvonne on 1/17/2012

fit the bill
I have several of leslie's discs. I was looking for an alternate 3 mile workout I could switch off with my other dvds. This was perfect. It was brisk, she was using some of her newer fun ie. grapevine. I loved the music, alright it was a little techno but different.I love this workout! - posted by sarah on 11/17/2011
Great Workout Video!
***** It's a 5 Star! I really like this workout video. It is a nice change from Leslie's other walking video as she spices it up with some new moves. I have done most of her library and have enjoyed all of her videos but she added a few new twists in this one that seem to be making a difference in my body. I would love to see Leslie offer optional arm movements, just as an example, during her workout just for a change of pace... I would also love to see this style of workout in a 5 mile option. I enjoy when she has the video split out so you can select doing a 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 mile option workout...I don't care for the individual miles because you have to keep going back to the main menu. That's my two cents! I hope it's helpful. - posted by Suzanne on 9/29/2011
Inspiring!!
Hi,I have been walking with Leslie for about 7 years now. I think she is an amazing woman & instructor. Leslie's program is the only program I have stuck with. I think she is Amazing! I would love to some day meet her. She seems like such a down to earth person. She makes staying healthy FUN! - posted by Evelyn on 9/7/2011
Walk off 10 pounds
If you have never exercised you might enjoy this/find this dvd helpful. I exercise on a regular basis and walk a lot (transportation is the primary goal, exercise secondary) and I don't have a clue how someone could possibly lose 10 pounds using this method unless as I said you have never exercised before. - posted by Dorene on 7/14/2011
Another Great workout by Leslie
First of all, Leslie chooses her music to keep you on pace so I'm sure it's not as easy to change that all the time. I do like that this workout was brisk, had some new music and some newer moves. But, it's classic Leslie. You're not going to get new moves with each workout~that's what her walking DVDs are about, getting a great workout with very basic choreography and only a few steps. If you'd like a low impact workout that fits that bill, I highly recommend Petra Kolber's Cardio for Beginners, which I love too. I'm glad to have this new Leslie workout in my collection. - posted by Elaine on 4/28/2011
Love this DVD
I have been using Leslie's DVD's (I have about 10)for about 7 years and have a group of friends that get together and do them with me twice a week. We were looking for some new 3 mile workouts when I found this one and the Bootcamp. We love the new steps in this one and feel it's a really complete workout. - posted by Kathy on 3/29/2011
I would have given it 10 stars!!
This Walk off 10 pounds is an amazing workout and I will tell you why. First off, I loved the music, 2nd, the pace was really fast and third Leslie's encouragement and the things she was talking about were really relevant...I think she is deep and she really has the gift of gab...I needed to hear what she was saying in order to keep going with my exercise regimen and diet...PLEASE COME OUT WITH ANOTHER ONE LIKE THIS, GOOD MUSIC, FAST PACE BUT LONGER..5 MILES MAYBE? The only thing was that I wished the workouts would be in a brighter location.... - posted by Shirley on 3/1/2011
LOVE THE WALKING
I really like to walk and this is my first Leslie Sansone experience. I really liked it, I was tired in the 2nd mile but for now, will do 1 mile at a time. Very good 3 mile walk. I like Leslie, her enthusiasm is catching... - posted by Carly on 2/23/2011

Reading a Time Graph
X
Each workout shows a time graph of the workout sequence, from beginning to end. For example, this workout starts with a 10-minute warm-up and ends with a 10-minute stretch. In between, you'll do aerobics, then toning, then a cooldown.

Segments that include both aerobics & toning
Some workouts combine aerobics and toning. If the aerobics and toning are done at the same time, you'll see a "blended" graph. If the aerobics and toning are done in short, alternating intervals, you'll see an "interval" graph.
