Certified instructor description: The first-ever Walk Aerobics program for kids (3 to 9 years old). Any child can do this workout; it uses Leslie’s usual super-easy-to-follow mix of marches, kicks and side-steps. For variety and fun, the kids get three different walking styles. They’ll begin with basic walking, then move into walking with optional weights (they can get a little upper-body toning). It all ends with “street walking” — a little edgier movement style. Throughout, everyone is learning about fitness and having fun. ©2005. DVD has: Chapter menus.

Leslie Sansone's Kid's Walk

10 year old loves it
I ordered this video after trying a few to do with me daughter. They were all failures. She absolutely fell in love with it. It was easy enough that she had success and the street walk and kid walk are her favorite segments. - posted by Sherry on 5/4/2012
walking strong
My kids did not like this video at all. I usually work out with them but this one was too boring. it was not well coordinated and it does not get the heart beat pumping. Apart from a few weights that the kids had to lift, they were standing and matching for the most part. - posted by Ms. J on 4/9/2012
Leslie's Sansone's "Kids Walk"
My son is 10 years old and is being home schooled. During winter months in Chicago, we normally use my Leslie Sansone "Walk Away the Pounds" to exercise. I was excited to see that you had one for younger kids. The beginning was a bit hokey for us, with the visuals, but the movements were easy to follow for kids and it got better when Leslie finally appeared on the screen with the kids. We loved the extra footage with the fellow at the end. In all, I've already recommended it to the Chicago Virtual Charter School k12 Home School Program Coordinator for other parents to use for their children' indoor exercise. I'm a big fan of Leslie Sansone. - posted by Debbie on 3/25/2011
Just what I was looking for.
As a P.E. teacher I needed something for the kids to do on those days I have to teach in the classroom. This was perfect! - posted by Roxanne on 12/9/2010
Kid's Walk
I teach first grade and I use this video at p.e. time with the class. The 30 minute workout is perfect for our class time. The only thing I would of liked better is the children did not always stay together and one little guy has a hard time holding on to the workout balls. - posted by Denise on 7/4/2010
More, More, More
I bought Leslie's new Christian video with all Christian music. I absolutely relish exercising this way. I only hope Leslie will make another Christian oriented video that is more challenging and longer. I would love to see the 4 fast miles made into 4 fast miles of Christ focused music and praise. Mrs. Sansone is excellent in what she does. I have enjoyed being her 'at home' student for 23 years. God bless her always. - posted by Donna Dillon on 6/4/2009
Reading a Time Graph
X
Each workout shows a time graph of the workout sequence, from beginning to end. For example, this workout starts with a 10-minute warm-up and ends with a 10-minute stretch. In between, you'll do aerobics, then toning, then a cooldown.

Segments that include both aerobics & toning
Some workouts combine aerobics and toning. If the aerobics and toning are done at the same time, you'll see a "blended" graph. If the aerobics and toning are done in short, alternating intervals, you'll see an "interval" graph.

Chapter menus

You can play only the individual workout segments you want by picking them off a chapter menu (one at a time).

X
