    Didn't like at first |
| Fist time I did this I didn't like it (didn't like 4 count then 3 count changes and lots arm movement) but did it second time found it to be a great lower workout. - posted by Judy on 4/27/2012 |

    Good one |
| Even tho this is an 'oldie' the moves are the same as when I was a gym member last year and took their step class. Your muscles don't care if the guy in the back has a mullet. And it's nice to have it in a DVD format to jump to different sections. I run and bike and do weights, and thought I'd get thru all 3 cardio sections easily, but I have to say at the 'advanced' level I had to stop.     Great Workout |
| I have done this video for years, and it is one of my "go to" workouts in my video library. None of the steps are particularly tricky, but the workout is still challenging. Love Kathy Smith! Always upbeat, encouraging and enthusiastic. Definitely give it a try. - posted by Marilyn on 2/17/2011 |

| I tried this for the first time today and liked it. I burned good calories (548 total) using an 8" step, it was easy to follow, flows at a nice pace, and I didn't have to think a lot, which was perfect today. :) Kathy's cuing is very good.     1992 - those were the days |
| Thongs. Not my favorite aerobic attire although I remember the fad too well. This is a very basic but very well queued workout. Kathy even breaks down how to do a repeater. It's very easy to add power to the moves and I like having the heart-rate check. I'm not in as good as shape as normal right now so this is just the right speed and length. 4 because there is no 3.5 If you are looking to get back into exercising, Kathy is a great instructor. | But if, like me, you find her kind of boring (sorry) this workout will quickly gather dust. The routine's choreography is very basic and low impact so this is a good option for users looking for these things. The generic mid-90's electronic music also needs to be overlooked. | Kathy Smith's Step Workout has been one of my favorites since it first came out. I had it on video and found the DVD on collagevideo.com. My video broke and boy did I miss this workout.     An oldie but a goodie! |
| I love doing step workouts, but I hate complex choreography. I want to be able to pop in a DVD and get a good, quick workout without having to stand there, studying the moves. This is a simple yet fun workout where I really get a sweat going! Kathy cues exceptionally well - I was able to follow when watching it the very first time. I liked that she cued BEFORE doing the move - too many instructors cue AS they're doing it which is really not helpful. Those instructors need to take some lessons from Kathy. Yes, her 'whooping' is a little irritating, but she doesn't do it too many times in this workout. A good, solid step workout. - posted by Candace on 10/24/2010 |
