Kathy Smith's Pregnancy Workout |
    good |
| I used this workout my first pregnancy & liked it so much I bought it again for this one. (I gave the first DVD away.) I have to fast forward through that silly rap, but I love the "energizer" (warm up). It's a gentle workout.....which is good because I've been dizzy & nauseous. If you want something high intermediate/advanced, this isn't for you. I use weights during the sculpting session, and change my weights up for different muscle groups to make it more challenging. I also make sure to make big movements during the aerobics to up the intensity. But, I don't go crazy because I want to keep it low impact with the hormones making my joints all loosey goosey. I gave it 4 stars because: 1) I really dislike the rap, 2) I wish the prenatal workout was guided. 3) I wish there were more Kegel exercises. I'm an intermediate exerciser normally. - posted by Nicole on 1/5/2012 |

Kathy's Wrote the Book on Pregnancy Fitness!!! |
| I loved, loved, loved doing this workout when I was pregnant in 1989, 1990, and 1991. The energy level that I attained was incredible and I felt great during the entire pregnancies. I did pilates during my pregnancies in 1994, 1997 and 2005. Recently my oldest daughter had her first baby! A girl! - posted by Simi on 12/28/2011 |

    Good Old Fashioned Fun |
| This dvd is old school from the outfits to the music to the moves. However it is a really fun video that gets your heart rate up and leaves you energized. Sure the Preggo shuffle rap is a bit cheesy, but you can skip that part. For those of you who are avid exercise junkies, you will want to use heavier weights for the arm sculpt section. I started with 5 lbs and found that too easy and moved up to 8. You can make the dvd work for you. This is one of the few with a focused cardio section if you are looking for one with a little more movement. - posted by Angela on 7/28/2010 |

    Great workout! |
| I'm 44 now and done having babies but I just had to write and say this is a great workout for your pregnancy! I'm so glad Collage is still selling it! I used it during and after all three of my pregnancies. It's a nice low impact workout even if you're not prego. Yes, the prego rap is a little cheesy but it doesn't last long at all or you can just skip that part. The relaxation at the end is wonderful too! - posted by Mary on 9/25/2009 |

old, cheesy, but a great workout |
| I checked out this video at my local library during my pregnancy with my second one. I must have renewed it about a million times and I used it all the way until I was about 38 weeks pregnant. It always made me feel so good afterwards, boosted my energy level, and I'm pretty sure it contributed to my 3 hour long delivery. I would definitely consider purchasing this video if I become pregnant again. It's well worth the cheese! - posted by Cat on 3/14/2009 |

    Excellent |
| I studied and worked for a long period of time and I didn’t have time for myself.
When I was pregnant with my first son I bought the tape from Canada. At that time I didn’t have much time to exercise. Now being pregnant with my second son I had time to exercise three times per week. I love Kathy Smith. She is full of life. She helps me to combat my mood swings. Every single time when I practice I feel much, much better. - posted by Anca, UK on 3/17/2008 |

It was great in its day |
| I did this workout during my two pregancies, one in 1991 and the other in 1996. At the time, it was the only pregancy workout tape available. I was carrying twins during my first pregancy and I credit this workout for making my pregancy and delivery far easier and uneventful than it could have been. I worked out almost daily until my 33rd week. I had no back pain and only gained 30 pounds. It was fun to watch those clips. Time has really flown - those twins are driving now! - posted by Rebecca on 10/29/2007 |

    Not Kathy Smith's Best |
| I also purchased this workout because of good reviews and other Kathy Smith DVD's. Probably her least appealing video. Exercise is ok but the "Preggo Rap" is just painful to watch. I put this one aside in favor of Denise Austin, Leisa Hart and the Crunch Yoga Mama DVD's. - posted by Kelly on 6/4/2007 |

| A little dated, but a good workout for late pregnancy |
| I was a regular exerciser before getting pregnant, and I find this to be a good workout for late pregnancy. Yes, the outfits and music are a little dated, and the "rap" is really cheesy, but I can ignore it or skip it. I like that the DVD is separated into segments - I can pick and choose or do them all. If you are a regular exerciser, I don't think this would be very challenging at the beginning of pregnancy, but it's great now that I'm at week 34 and beyond. - posted by cara on 11/24/2005 |

| outdated and boring |
| do not bother thinking this is a good workout for the new millenium, it is outdated with bad outfits, bad production and poor instruction, if it wasn't for Kathy Smith, i wouldn't have bought this, it is so cheesy and boring, very annoying. - posted by Gloria on 11/1/2005 |
