Jazzercise: Core |
Not as good as dancin abs |
| I stopped using the tape but then became desperate for more floor work outs so I just skip routines with Judy in them. I wish she wasn't in them, I'd get a better work out. I wish the weight portion of tape really work you out more, but it doesn't you do 4 little reps then your done. It doesn't even work you till you hurt a little. very frustrated. I want to purchase the others but Judy seems to be in most which is discouraging. She needs to not lead the class. Dancin abs is a great tape. I've lost 20lbs since Feb 2012 working out to Dancin abs. I love that tape. - posted by Patty Archuletta on 5/12/2012 |

    Awesome! |
| I have sciatica and need to strengthen my Core. This video not only strengthens your core, but gives an aerobic and toning effect as well.
I’m almost 60 years old and can complete the exercises which are pretty rigorous but fairly easy to “catch on”. - posted by Linda on 4/20/2012 |

    Ho-hum |
| I will begin by saying I love love love Dancin Abs. It is so fun. But I couldn't get into this and honestly kept bursting out laughing. I can't put my finger on why...Found Judi a bit distracting in her movements and demeanor. She sings with the music and doesn't keep time with the others. Many times I won't notice things that bother others as long as I find the workout fun and a decent challenge. This just wasn't my cup of tea and I would urge anyone interested to take a look at Dancin Abs. That one is just cardio though. The options with this dvd are nice if you can stand to use it..there is a 30 minute and 60 minute workout as well as two toning segments...personally I won't be using this again. I have too much else I really like. - posted by Melissa on 5/24/2011 |

Good workout, with a focus on core |
| I am a beginner/intermediate exerciser - and this is a very fun, sweaty workout. I enjoy all the cueing they give throughout the dvd, to remind you to focus on your core - very effective. They are a bit 'peppy', but not over the top. There are lots of options/mixes: the full 60 minutes, a shortened 30 minute, plus a couple strength options of standing or sitting. - posted by Cindy on 12/2/2010 |

    good dvd |
| I bought this for a friend as a Christmas present because she loves jazzercise. I'm an avid exerciser and chose this one in particular as a gift because of the over-all workout that it has based on it's description. I'm sure my friend will love it! - posted by jennifer on 11/27/2010 |

    Love it! |
| This is one of my first Jazzercise DVDs, and I have never taken a Jazzercise class. I love the music in this one. The workout is very intense and definitely does work your core. I find Chere's instruction and form to be the best. It's a shame she is not on the front cover because she played such a significant part in making this workout so great! At least she is recognized on the back cover and in the introduction. I noticed a huge difference in my waist and lower abs the day after I first tried this. I look forward to doing this one regularly. It's a keeper! - posted by Becky on 9/26/2010 |

    Very good |
| I've never attended a Jazzercise class, but I've enjoyed all of their DVDs. This one has everything you'd want in a workout: interesting moves, intensity options, good music. It has short segments, so I find the time flies by. Judi is not my favorite instructor but that's okay. I hope they keep making more DVDs! - posted by Marianne on 8/16/2010 |

    Provides some variety |
| This video has some of the same routines as the Dancin Abs DVD but has a shorter aerobic segment with some additional focus on balance work at the end. The format follows a typical Jazzercise class. Warm-up, cardio, strength, and stretch. I have always found their choreography to be quite simple and like the dance style workout. By all means, follow the instructor you like best. I add it to my rotation to provide some variety on the Jazzercise DVD's. - posted by Denise on 7/25/2010 |

    Like It! |
| Jazzerciser for many years, but moved where there are no Jazzercise classes. Just restarting to exercise again after a few year hiatus. Videos aren't quite as fun as going to an actual Jazzercise class, but it's the next best thing. This is one of the 3 Jazz videos I've recently purchased. I like this one and like the others, too. I never follow Judi on any of the workouts - I don't think she has the best form, but it's just a personal preference. I also don't like a lot of knee rotation - I think it's an accident waiting to happen (think doing the "sugar"). I also wish they had a low impact instructor on stage the entire time. I have an ankle injury so I can't hop, twist and jump all the time, so I have to come up with my own version of the move. There is one routine where they face sideways, I wish they'd face to the front to see the actual move better. I also wish they'd have a longer stretching segment. But with all that being said, I actually look forward to doing this video in my rotation. I incorporate exercise videos 5 to 6 days a week with walking my dogs twice a day and some elliptical when it rains/blizzards or it's too hot/cold outside. I just don't get bored when I do jazzercise and that's always a mega plus! - posted by Lizzie on 7/13/2010 |

not as good as class |
| the problem with all of the jazzercise videos are that they are not the same as the moves in class..they are made for a real beginner and not someone who knows the moves..judy founded jazzercise as a dance based program and has gone away from that a lot..i can say this because i started jazzercise in 1981 and this is 2010..i guess she has to keep up with the times and attract new people..i have heard the comment that "jazzercise is so 1980".. - posted by susan on 7/11/2010 |
