Certified instructor description: A no-nonsense kickbox program led by a super-motivating instructor. Never fancy or hard to follow — this workout keeps you energized with a fluid series of kickboxing classics. Guillermo's format and teaching style makes it easy. He begins with simple jabs and punches. Then he smoothly adds in the upper-body combinations (e.g. a triple jab with a hook and cross). About halfway through, he starts to emphasize the lower-body combos like kicks, squats, lunges and jumping jacks. By the end, you're just flying — burning fat and having fun. Guillermo's high-energy cuing includes lots of detailed instruction; he keeps you constantly focused on breathing, balance and technique (e.g. "now rotate your heel, turning your hips into the punch"). DVD includes a short tutorial and a martial arts drill segment. ©2011. DVD has:

Guillermo Gomez's Kickboxing Cardio Power |
    Great kickboxing video |
| I'm a plus size woman looking for a kickboxing video that didn't have alot of complex boxing combinations and worked my glutes; and I found it. When I bought this Kickboxing Cardio Video, it was the only one offered in the series. I've previewed his other videos, they look a little more complex; so I'm glad I purchased this one first and will purchase his other videos later. Thanks Collage! - posted by Dee on 5/21/2012 |

    Good Wokout. |
| This is the first DVD I've got of this instructor, all I can say is that I was very impressed with it, gets my heart rate up & its a good workout and Guillermo is good looking as well, his cueing is excellent and he has a nice sexy voice. The workout itself is basic but you are moving all the time so you are burning calories. I have done this DVD quite a few times and I am not bored of it. I would say that I am pretty fit I do alot of taebo which is brill also step aerobics and aerobics. - posted by Karen on 5/5/2012 |

    Fun and fast paced |
| I was hesitant to buy this video since it is only 42 min and didn't think I would get a good enough workout. No worries on that one! This workout works up a sweat, gets my heartrate up and makes me feel as though I had a 50 min workout! I also love Guillermo! Gilad is my all time favorite but Guillermo has the charisma and energy that I love about Gilad. Other similarities that I love is that there is no fancy footwork - just a solid workout. Also that it is easy to modify if you can't do high impact. After my knee surgery I have to modify full jumping jacks and squats - which is easy to do with this video. - posted by Julie on 5/5/2012 |

Guillermo Gomez's Kickboxing Cardio Power |
| I find Gomez's kickboxing Cardio Power DVD to be a well organized video. It is simple to follow, I am an aficionado of simplicity. I have two 'left feet' so to speak, and I find it difficult to follow videos that implement choreography of any kind. I plan to purchase more of Gomez's video in the near future. Oh! and the fact that he has a romantic accent is a plus! - posted by Cynthia on 4/20/2012 |

    Love It! |
| I absolutely love this workout! Guillermo's cueing is great and the entire workout is fun. I only hate it's 38 minutes of cardio kickboxing then cooldown especially for the price, but all in all this is a fun workout that I'll look forward to doing. It's definitely for the intermediate and maybe some beginners (with modification). If you're advanced then I would say this workout would be for a "light" day. I will admit your heartrate probably won't go up much until you start the jumping and scissor jacks. - posted by Tania on 3/27/2012 |

    Harder Than I Thought |
| This workout looked kind of tame and I thought I would use it on light days. When I did the tape the first time I used weighted gloves (1 lb.) and what a tough workout! It is not that the moves are hard to do but that there is more jumping jacks than I like to do on light days. I really like Guillermo, very motivating and the counting in Spanish reminds me of my high school Spanish classes! - posted by Denise on 2/2/2012 |

    Challenging,fun kickboxing! |
| This is a fun workout. I have done this about 15 times and it hasn't become boring or old. Sensei Gomez is great at keeping you motivated. He explains everything and demonstrates the boxing moves. Enjoy doing it and getting results. I wish the kickboxing routine was longer than 42 minutes, hope his next DVD is longer with more advanced kickboxing. - posted by Betsey on 1/18/2012 |

Fun Combos, not complex choreo, high energy |
| I think this is an intermediate workout that is really appropriate for most all fitness levels- add some weighted gloves to amp up the intensity, or tone it down for a lighter day. Add some plyos for a bigger burn. Great cuing, great pace, lots of fun and the perfect balance of fun - not boring- not complex choreo. Did this with a kickboxing beginner friend who really enjoyed it and worked up a great sweat (so did I!) love the combos that are easy to learn and allow you to jump right in. Love the ability to modify to meet my needs. - posted by lindseylu8 on 1/9/2012 |

    New Favourite! |
| This is the first time I have bought a Guillermo Gomez workout DVD and I have NO regrets about it! Love Guillermo's cuing and enthusiasm (nice accent to boot too!). The workout did not drag at all (5 mins warm up+ 32 mins aerobics + 5 mins cool down), but you WILL sweat and burn some calories. What I liked about it most was that the moves were not hard to catch on at all. Guillermo repeats the steps many times (but not incessantly) so that you can get the hang of it. Too bad there is only one main workout to choose from. Still, I liked the workout so much, I bought another copy for my sister. My new favourite workout! - posted by Maise on 1/8/2012 |
