Certified instructor description: An easy-to-follow, totally core-focused program with a surprising variety of moves. The workout is super-comprehensive — in addition to traditional ab toning, it also strengthens the muscles that support your lower back and hips. The exercises are all proven Pilates and gym-style classics — moves like curls, planks, bridges and “rolling like a ball.” What makes them interesting are the endless variations (e.g. a simple crunch, then a crunch with one leg moving, then a slow-count crunch with an elbow twist, etc.). It's all exceptionally well-planned; Gilad's progressions and transitions are fluid and natural. Includes lots of motivating, between-move stretches. Filmed on a sunny Hawaiian beach. ©2011. DVD has: Chapter menus, Wide screen.

Gilad's Lord of the Abs: Phenomenal Abs & Core

Awesome workout!
Love the video. I've been looking for something more advanced than what I was used to. It's a good challenge. I like Gilad's style, too. - posted by Jackie on 5/8/2012
Straight forward, killer workout
I've been a Bodies in Motion fan since the 80's. Gilad is a great instructor -- no complicated moves, reasonable pace, motivational tone of voice. There's nothing grating about him. This abs workout is typical Gilad style -- no-nonsense, uncomplicated, and KILLER. My abs were screaming before the workout was over. I look forward to being able to go through the entire workout without cheating. I definitely recommend! - posted by Karolyn on 5/3/2012
Gilad
I love this dvd! Gilad is one the best trainers ever! He takes that extra step to teach his moves so they are done correctly. Keep sending me flyers as they become available via mail. Thank you. - posted by Tina Lynch on 4/27/2012
Gilad's Lord of the Abs:Phenomenal Abs & Core
Gilad's exercise programs are always great. The video is a great workout for the abs and also has an aerobic effect. However, I would have preferred if less of it relied on the plank position since I've been having problems with mt left shoulder lately. - posted by mary ellis on 4/27/2012
Gilad's maximum abs
I love Gilad and have been working out to him for years! I love that he made a series of ab workouts that are longer. His maximum abs uses a med ball which was challenging but fun. It's a workout I will be using on a regular basis. I am a advance exerciser who is 53 and love all styles of workouts. - posted by Jill on 4/19/2012
Gilad ABS
Gilad has stepped up his game quite a bit. Some of his moves I have a little trouble with, however he gives some alternative moves. 4.5 stars - posted by Eleanor on 4/19/2012

Good ab workout
Who doesn't love Gilad? I've been a fan since WAYYY back. I wouldn't say this one is overly hard but if you push yourself, it is a challenging workout. - posted by Margi on 3/23/2012
Solid workout!
As usual, Gilad gives us a solid, challenging workout. This workout is probably not for the faint of heart, but I saw plenty of opportunities for modifications, if needed. Yes, you will have to come up with your own modifications, but if you have some solid exercise experience, even from long ago, coming up with the modifications will be easy. I cannot say how happy I am to see these new Gilad workouts. Although this is a toning only routine in appearance, it gets my heart rate up, and the pause button mixed with some jumping jack sets every few minutes should keep the heart rate going as well. - posted by Paula on 3/22/2012

Segments that include both aerobics & toning
Some workouts combine aerobics and toning. If the aerobics and toning are done at the same time, you'll see a "blended" graph. If the aerobics and toning are done in short, alternating intervals, you'll see an "interval" graph.
