Certified instructor description: Colorful graphics, an engaging instructor plus a cartoon exercising bear, it’s for kids 3 to 6. It’s filled with playful, fun movements like “big arms,” “high knees” and “swim like a fish.” And they’ll also experience kid-style versions of “real” exercises like bicep curls, overhead presses and side lunges. Kristi even has sing-along lyrics to motivate and teach your children about exercise (e.g. “turn around, use those quads…”). It also includes a cartoon section in the cooldown that teaches healthy eating. ©2004. DVD has: Chapter menus.

Very poor quality. My four year old didn't like it and wouldn't participate, even though she would with other exercise tapes. - posted by Sally on 1/26/2012
My 3YO recommends it!
I bought this for my 5YO son, but he never really got into it. However, my now 3YO daughter LOVES it! She brings it to me nearly every day and LOVES to follow along. Yes, it's somewhat corny, but very age-appropriate. She loves it. The instructor is very kid-friendly. - posted by Sara on 12/5/2011

I am a kindergarten teacher and I have been using this video for several years. The music, the educational dialogue and the exercise routine is perfect for the classroom. It is the best I have found so far. My students really enjoy it. - posted by Annette on 3/30/2011
Didn't Like It
I bought this for my boys ages 3 and 4 and I confess that I didn't let them watch it because after I previewed it, I thought it was corny and I didn't really want my 3 yo talking about bicep curls. I want him to enjoy activity as fun not get into muscle building yet. I sold the DVD at a garage sale. - posted by Paula on 10/26/2010
Terrific program for toddlers
With childhood obesity being such a problem in our country, my state has mandated 60 minutes of physical activity for children enrolled in home day care. I was so pleased to find this workout program for my toddlers. They love to exercise and this is a great resource. I find them singing the songs throughout the day, so it has made quite an impression on them. Thank you so much. - posted by Kathleen on 4/22/2010
Excellent!!!
This is the best workout for young kids that I've seen so far. My kids (3 and 4 1/2 years) actually got up and did all the exercises. It's split into sections...warm-up, arms, legs, cardio, and cool down. There's a segment about healthy snacks (fruit) between the cardio and cool down. The instructor is great. She's young and energetic and she explains things very well for kids. I highly recommend this workout. - posted by Amber on 7/27/2007
I wish there were more videos like this
My kids just LOVE this video. It's a little corny to adults, yes, but it's not for adults is it The best thing about it is that cues are in song form and are therefore more interesting to even the youngest child AND are easier for them to remember and so they can stay WITH the instructor rather that trying to catch up. It's GREAT. I recommend highly. - posted by Sarah on 7/8/2007
Reading a Time Graph
X
Each workout shows a time graph of the workout sequence, from beginning to end. For example, this workout starts with a 10-minute warm-up and ends with a 10-minute stretch. In between, you'll do aerobics, then toning, then a cooldown.

Segments that include both aerobics & toning
Some workouts combine aerobics and toning. If the aerobics and toning are done at the same time, you'll see a "blended" graph. If the aerobics and toning are done in short, alternating intervals, you'll see an "interval" graph.
