Certified instructor description: An exceptionally elegant and fluid blend of dance, Pilates, yoga, ballet and fitness. It’s a true “feel good” workout designed to boost strength, flexibility and gracefulness. Each carefully planned series features a connected sequence of upper-body, lower-body and core exercises that just naturally flow together (“no muscle is ever truly isolated”). The routines range from athletic squats and dancers’ pliés to yoga cobras and even one-handed “diamond pushups.” Ellen also includes short “oasis” segments — between-exercise pauses where you’ll gently swing your arms or bounce your hips to relieve any tension. ©2009. Ellen Barrett's Fusion Flow

Fusion Flow
At first I thought this video would need weights to get a good workout as she uses none; however, I decided not to use any and finish the program all the way through. I'm so glad I didn't use hand weights, this was a good workout for upper and lower body. I love her videos because you are barefoot, they are gentle on your joints and give you a great workout! - posted by MG on 2/3/2012
Great
Love her videos. Barefoot workouts that work. And, great stretching. I found out that a good stretch is just as important as cardio and weights. Ellen's cuing is right on and almost everyone should be able to do it. - posted by Diane on 2/2/2012
Fusion Flow is the way to go!
Just recovering from surgery and 6 months of not being able to do my normal exercise routine; this tape was the perfect toning tape to start me back into shape again....VERY easy to follow and, like the title, just FLOWS from one move to another. And...after the first use, I felt muscles I forgot I had.!! LOVE IT! - posted by Donna on 1/5/2012
One of my favs
I love all things Ellen but the first time I did this dvd it felt awkward and I wasn't sure if I cared for it as much as her other dvds in the studio series. I gave it another try and I now LOVE this one. It is one of my favorites and I find myself reaching for it often. I get a total body workout that feels good and I can feel my heart rate elevate a little too. I love working out like this - graceful but strong, relaxing but working hard- balancing the yin and yang in a safe time efficient way. Plus I get results! - posted by Tammy on 10/15/2011

A great all over workout--keeps me limber between class workouts. I would recommend it for mature women (I am 63) since the modified positions are presented and easy to follow. I like Ellen's style too--not overly intense or loud. The background music is perfect. - posted by cathy on 8/29/2011
Loved the philosophy
I love her style of exercise. It is right up my alley, but this particular workout was too tough for my lower back so I will not continue to use it. - posted by Laura on 8/7/2011
Love ALL of Ellen Barrett's DVDs in The Studio series
I'm 52 and have been doing The Firm for well over 10 years - have a huge collection of those videos and they've been great. But I was bored, feeling tired, and having trouble getting motivated to do even an indoor workout in the hot Texas summer. I had a couple of Ellen Barrett's videos from the CRUNCH series and like them a lot, so I bought a couple of her more recent The Studio videos to try. I was worried about working out barefoot because of a bout with plantar fasciitis several years ago, but no problem. It actually feels like my feet are getting stronger. These workouts are a great mix of cardio, stretching, and toning with a flow and grace that make them a pleasure. And barefoot is COOLER! I have since bought ALL of The Studio DVDs. - posted by Harriet on 8/1/2011
A keeper!
This has become one of my favorites. Hits all the muscle groups. You don't realize how hard you are working. Ellen cues the changes perfectly. Very enjoyable and a good workout. - posted by Clare on 7/30/2011
Great Workout
This gives me a total body workout with out the use of weights. I felt it work out my entire body. - posted by Kari on 7/14/2011
I take it back! This really is a challenging workout!
I wrote a review on this a few weeks ago. Maybe it was my mood when I did the workout but I did not enjoy it the first time around as I do with all the other Studio workouts and Crunch series by Ellen. I decided to give this another go and am so glad I did. This workout was HARD. I am so sore today and I workout 5-6 days per week for 40-60 minutes each time in addition to walking an hour 5 days a week. The only part I didn't like was the dancers lunge sequence. It was tough on my knees and back. Otherwise great workout. I was sweating by the end and my muscles were burning. I'll be adding it back into a regular rotation. I recommend it. - posted by Kiesha on 7/5/2011
