Dirty Dancing Official Dance Workout

It's time to dirty dance!
I had to get this as I have always loved the movie and the music! This is good for light workout days or days where you just want to turn on some music and dance. You can pick and choose whichever dances you want, including all four back-to-back. Some moves are hard to do on carpet, and I find my knees and ankles get a real workout trying these moves, so be careful! I have good rhythm but am usually a little uncoordinated at first. The moves are not impossible, but they do take some time to do nearly perfect. I enjoyed "Love Man" and "Yes" the most. "Do You Love Me" is probably the easiest of them all. "Johnny's Mambo" has some kicks and very fast footwork - stuff that I'm not used to - but very fun! - posted by Becky on 4/10/2011
An exercise in technology
This workout video, in and of itself, is quite fun. However, for the technology-challenged person, it is very difficult to get to the actual workout. What button do I press? Why did that come up on my screen? How do I get out of the instruction part? I hope these lively dancers will make another video where we can just press one or two buttons. dirty dancing
I enjoyed this workout.The dance steps are easy to follow and not too strenuous. It is a good mix for my workout routine.I walk briskly MWF and do the dirty dancing exercise the rest of the week.I had also ordered the toning exercises for seniors by the Nat. institute of aging and incorporate it in my exercise routine Tuesdays and Thursdays. Fun Workout
Fun workout after you take the time to learn the routines which will take a few tries. This is a workout for people who can move, so I would rate it as an intermediate level. Dancing to the fun routines with the music was such a change of pace from a normal exercise dance video. Reading a Time Graph

Each workout shows a time graph of the workout sequence, from beginning to end. For example, this workout starts with a 10-minute warm-up and ends with a 10-minute stretch. In between, you'll do aerobics, then toning, then a cooldown.
