Certified instructor description: A spicy Latin fat-burner that features motivating music and lots of variety. Stella Sandoval’s progressive teaching makes it easy to follow — you’ll learn the foot pattern, add some hips or arms, then conclude with the complete dance sequence. But this is not just basic sambas and mambos. Stella blends diverse movements to create interesting combinations like “mucho mambo combo,” “back step salsa” and “tango mambo” (while always encouraging you to incorporate your own personal style). The tempo is quick, the moves are wide-ranging and the energy level is high. Ends with a 17-minute Latin dance tutorial. ©2006. DVD has: Chapter menus.

Dance Off the Inches: Sizzling Salsa

Fun Workout
This workout is very well cued. The footwork is easy so you can really focus on getting your heart rate up by using your hips and arms. I have arthritis in my feet and I find this workout to be very user-friendly. - posted by Ann-Marie on 3/13/2012
Good
This is a tough video. The instructions are good. Perhaps a few more practice steps would help but I'm enjoying it and feel it is working (dancing off the inches!!) I recommend it!! I'm a senior citizen but fit and it works for me! - posted by Joanne on 2/9/2012
Fun!
This is a great video. I have been doing zumba for a while and this fills in when I can't get to the gym. Also, it's about a half hour so is great for a quick workout. There's a section that shows the dance steps, too. Highly recommended. - posted by Karen on 2/4/2012

Sizzling Salsa
This video is fun and energetic. At first its a little difficult to get going with the steps, but the instructor makes it easy to follow. I would advise you to take the preview of the steps so you can practice before you start the routine. Have fun and dance the pounds away! Stella Sandoval your awesome! - posted by Maritza on 11/17/2011
So much fun!
This workout is really fun, it's as if your not even working out...very fun! Along side Crunch: Cardio Salsa, Dance off the Inches: Sizzling Salsa is one of the best latin influence dance workouts....Crunch Cardio Salsa being my favorite, but this one is up there. Very pleased with this DVD. - posted by Lennette on 6/9/2011
It's ok
I like the steps style and choreography but the instructor dance like a robot. She moves very unmotivating specially for someone new dvd dance workout. I also didn't sweat much. I have to make myself work hard to sweat or I have to go out for a run to make my heart pumping after this dance workout.. It's ok to add on my routine workout... - posted by Ester on 6/9/2011
Dance off the Inches - Sizzling Salsa
I found this routine to be easy to follow and fun. I've been using it twice a week for two weeks. So far, so good. It is recommended for all ages. I am 50+ and I can keep up. - posted by Linda on 4/14/2011
Great introduction to salsa
Easy to follow, instructor is clear and concise with direction, this is a great high-energy *fun* workout DVD. Highly recommend this one! - posted by Meli on 4/7/2011
Sizzling Salsa
I like this salsa dance, because there are five instructors, I do not like when the instructor is only one person. - posted by Natalia Pranata on 4/1/2011
