Certified instructor description: A simple hip hop dance workout that focuses on having fun and finding your own personal style. Jennifer Galardi's instruction makes it easy — she starts with the basic footwork, then layers-in the arms or more complex patterns (the DVD also comes with a 21-minute pre-workout tutorial). You get three different dance styles. "In the Club" features sexy shoulder shakes, chest pops and arm motions. "Groovin'" has more laid back and "cool" moves. "Kicking It" is the fastest paced with the most energetic dance steps. All the segments are well-cued with super-smooth transitions — one move just effortlessly glides into the next. ©2011. DVD has: Chapter menus, Wide screen, Close captions, Region 1.

Dance Off the Inches Hip Hop Body Blast

Awesome as always
Love love love Galardi! Her moves are innovative and fresh - great workout once you get the moves down. My only criticism is the camera angle leaves her too much - I need to see her whole body to get the moves and follow them when they do the moves from the beginning (short term memory loss...). - posted by Laura on 3/23/2012
Fun Dance workout
I enjoyed this workout and have several other Jennifer Galardi workouts. She is a great instructor and makes dancing fun. - posted by Melody on 3/20/2012
Jennifer Is Awesome!
This is my third Dance off the inches workout featuring Jennifer Galardi and I absolutely love Jennifer's personality, choreography, and she can dance! I used Jennifer's "Dance off the inches Hip Hop Party" along with walking to lose 16 pounds (along with a clean, healthy diet) but I wanted another video to add variety. So when I saw a new dance workout by Jennifer I knew I had to purchase it! I am so glad I did!! It is fun and I love the music...I found myself getting lost in the beat and before I knew it I was at the cool down. This workout is definitely not just for beginners because you can add more bounce and more arms to work up a good sweat, plus I could really feel my abs working. I too had to do the workout a few times to get the moves perfect. I plan on doing this workout twice a week on my light days, now that I am running three days a week. I highly recommend this DVD!! - posted by Brandy on 3/9/2012
I like it!
I've tried other hip hop dvd's and given up because I can't learn the moves! Keep in mind, I used to teach aerobics so I have a good sense of rhythm. This workout is fun and I worked up a nice sweat. By the second or third try I had the moves down & could really work it. - posted by Elizabeth on 1/25/2012
Great workout!
Good cardio workout and a hip hop class in one! It's fun and a good sweat, time just flies! I'm a beg-int and I felt this was more of an intermediate if you do it with gusto. - posted by Meghana on 1/9/2012
This is a lot of fun
I got Dance Off the Inches Hip Hop Body Blast for Christmas and I really like it. The moves are very easy to pick up on. Once you get the choreography, you add your own style and you'll have fun while getting a great workout. All of the Dance Off the Inches DVD's are easy to learn and fun to do. - posted by Renee on 1/9/2012
Great fun!!
I'm writing a review because the other two reviews are negative. I've done this workout a few times and I REALLY like it!! She has a very thorough tutorial of the moves and I picked them up relatively quickly, I consider myself a beginner/ intermediate exerciser and I feel I get a good cardio workout. And it's lots of fun, I recommend it!!!! - posted by Laura on 1/3/2012
Not as good as Dance Cardio Hip Hop
I didn't care too much for this one. There are too many complicated steps. I got this for Christmas and I want to sell it. Dance Off The Inches Dance Cardio Hip Hop and Country Line Dance Party are better. 12/29/2011: I Stand Corrected - I recently wrote a review for Dance Off the Inches Hip Hop Body Blast. I did it once and I said I didn't like it. But I've since done it a few more times and I like it. Once you learn the moves and add your own flavor, it's easy and fun. I still like Jennifer's Dance Off the Inches Cardio Hip Hop better. - posted by Sheila on 12/27/2011
Too slow for me!
This workout is just OK for me..Too slow, the dance moves are boring... - posted by Olivia on 12/22/2011
Reading a Time Graph
X
Each workout shows a time graph of the workout sequence, from beginning to end. For example, this workout starts with a 10-minute warm-up and ends with a 10-minute stretch. In between, you'll do aerobics, then toning, then a cooldown.

Segments that include both aerobics & toning
Some workouts combine aerobics and toning. If the aerobics and toning are done at the same time, you'll see a "blended" graph. If the aerobics and toning are done in short, alternating intervals, you'll see an "interval" graph.
