Certified instructor description: It features a medley of fun, dance-inspired moves demonstrated in an unusually easy to follow format. Each pattern is taught at three tempos. You’ll always begin a combo at the easiest-to-learn slower tempo and gracefully build up to the faster speeds. Then, you’ll start over again with a new pattern at the slowest tempo (each choreography block only lasts a few minutes so it’s never boring). This program is fast-paced with lots of quick changes (you get three complete routines in just 15 minutes). The dances are exceptionally varied — a mix of familiar dance steps and free-flowing movements. You also get a 10-minute bonus cardio segment — use it to extend the main workout or as a separate “quickie” program. Bright, high-tech set. ©2005. DVD has: Chapter menus, Close captions.

Dance Off the Inches: 15-Minute Express

it's ok...
Thought this video looked cute and it is. I don't think it's a real heart thumper but it's fun. You don't really break a sweat, and if you are a more advanced exerciser then find something else. Instructor was ok, and the background was nice, but not a heart thumper. Alright for days you don't want to sweat. - posted by Leslie on 10/6/2008
This is an OK workout but...
to call it "a real heart thumper" is a joke. Yeah, the moves are fun; set's nice; and the instructor has a hip, positive attitude without being over the top. I use this workout sometimes as a warm-up to weightlifting. This could be a good option for anyone new to dance workouts, as you learn the routine in bits, first slowly then a little faster and finally at regular tempo. It's one of the few dance workouts I've tried that is carpet-friendly. The cooldown has no stretching at the end, if that's important to you. DVD is nicely chaptered. - posted by Martha on 1/22/2008
Don't bother
I think this workout was uninspiring and mediocre at best. - posted by Akasha on 12/12/2007

Fun to Go!
This is a quick, fun dancing workout. I loved every minute of it. I especially loved the 10 min. dance off. It is nonstop pure cardio at level 3. It is just too much fun. The instructor was warm and inviting and made me work hard. So if you are short on time but want to do a fun dancing workout then this is it! - posted by Emily on 3/20/2007
Much of Tap Dance!
At first, I like the dances. It's easy to follow. I love grapevine part. When more I use it, I notice that it uses a lot of tap-toes moves. I don't feel much of arm uses. I don't want to waste my time on feet only. So, I decide to let it go because I have other great dance dvds. - posted by Robin on 2/24/2007
Fun and Fast
I enjoyed this one very much. It's taught the same way as the companion workout - at three different tempos. This gives you plenty of time to pick up the choreography and the choreography is so basic anyway that you shouldn't have any problems. Sometimes I'm looking for a quick, easy workout other than a Leslie walk, and this fits the bill nicely. - posted by on 1/20/2006
FUN
I bought this dvd because I liked the Crunch Cardio Dance Blast so much that I wanted to try another dance aerobics video. I hated this one the first two times I did it because I could not get the moves down at all. I kept trying it though, (I was very determined) and after a few more times, I have it down like a pro now and I think it is great fun!! The time flies by, I do the 15 min and 10 min sections together for a longer workout, or as a warm up for some of my harder aerobics videos. I like the cast but the instructer is a little stiff and puckers her lips out and makes some goofy expressions a few times. Stick with this one. It feels good to let loose and just move your body! - posted by angela on 12/2/2005
A Definite Blast
I have this video, and although it is pretty basic, it still is challenging and fun. It seemed really short to me (it is only 15 mins including warm-up and cool-down) but it does come with the extra "10 Minute dance off" which helps make it alittle longer. It is just a fun time, when you don't need to take your working out too seriously for the day. I would recommend it and it lifts my spirits everytime I do it. - posted by Lori on 10/12/2005
what a drag!!
This was the worst DVD i've tried from collage yet! the moves, extremely confusing, the music, doesn't match the dance moves, the cast, can't even talk about, and the set color, very distracting. If your intermeditae, or even beg/int you'll stay away from this boring, easy let down. i'm returing it as soon as i can - posted by cariline on 9/29/2005
AWESOME AND FUN!
This workout is fun and effective and easy to follow! I didn't even feel like I was working out - just dancing away in my living room - and afterward I realized how effective it was. I felt so good about myself after doing it! The instructor cues really well, the pace is great, and it's FUN! - posted by Kay on 9/22/2005
Reading a Time Graph
X
Each workout shows a time graph of the workout sequence, from beginning to end. For example, this workout starts with a 10-minute warm-up and ends with a 10-minute stretch. In between, you'll do aerobics, then toning, then a cooldown.

Segments that include both aerobics & toning
Some workouts combine aerobics and toning. If the aerobics and toning are done at the same time, you'll see a "blended" graph. If the aerobics and toning are done in short, alternating intervals, you'll see an "interval" graph.
