Certified instructor description: A flowing series of toning-focused poses led by a friendly, low-key instructor. Bethany Lyons emphasizes having fun and enjoying the moment — not mastering every position (“it’s okay if you want to drop your knees …”). Her cuing is detailed and clear; beginners will have no trouble following along. The moves are familiar classics — each carefully selected and sequenced to build flexibility and tone your muscles. Mostly lower body and core-targeted, they include the warrior to shape your legs and the boat pose to firm your abs. It ends with a super-relaxing, muscle-by-muscle stretch segment. ©2008. Crunch: Yoga Body Sculpt |
    Meets my expectation |
| I have not done a lot of yoga but I am familiar with most basic poses. This gives me a quick yet fairly complete yoga/sculpting workout. I find for myself I like to do a short warm up before I start with this to get my blood flowing. It meets my need. The only negative is, I can see myself growing out of it quickly and there is only one work out on the DVD. - posted by Belinda on 5/15/2012 |

    Not my favorite |
| I have a collection of yoga tapes and CD's and I alternate between them 5 days a week. I am 68 and have been doing yoga for about 20 years. This tape was a little hard for me and I had to modify several poses. It also didn't have enough of the stretches that I really enjoy. I will continue to use it but it is definitely not one of my favorites. - posted by Colleen on 5/10/2012 |

    review from a grandma |
| I'm 62 and have been using collage video for years. Love the Crunch series. This one is a bit fast for me. The other Crunch yoga videos are more my speed. - posted by joyce on 12/8/2011 |

    great instructor |
| I am fairly new to yoga....this workout really helped me do the more basic moves and work my way to the advanced. The instructor is clear and concise with her words and moves. i was pleasantly surprised to feel a good soreness after doing yoga! My flexIbility and balance have improved as well as my strength. There is another individual doing the basic moves so you can start there and work your way to the more advanced. Delightful workout. Results happen with a more toned, flexible and balanced body. 5 stars. - posted by nurse4141 on 5/17/2011 |

Bad & unhelpful camera angle |
| Why on earth would a yoga video be shot looking straight at the instructor and participants with them facing toward the camera so that you almost never get a side view of how the pose should look from the side for proper posture and with modifications? This seems a bit idiotic. The closest they come to getting a good angle is the rare pan where you are looking almost diagonally at the instructor. If you are a beginner, I don't recommend this at all because form is everything and it's very hard to tell form from the angle they've shot this. If you're not fairly new to yoga, then maybe you can do without a proper angel. Overall, it's a good beginners video with a variety of poses that a few other beginners workouts do not have. I haven't decided if I'm returning it but I likely will because I can't stand that it was shot from an angle that I cannot see proper form. It's like facing the wrong was in a yoga studio, away from the mirrors and instructors. Who would do that? Actually, I just made up my mind. It's going back. - posted by Ariel on 4/11/2011 |

    Good for Beginners |
| I am a beginner at yoga, and I found this workout to be excellent. The cues are clear, and it doesn't move so fast I can't keep up. I certainly don't do every move perfectly, but each time I do the workout, I get better. The last 9 or 10 minutes are a very good stretching sequence. - posted by Pat on 3/6/2011 |

    Do-able even if you're overweight! |
| This is the 2nd yoga video for beginners I have tried and it was the best. It was great for beginners. I could actually participate. I am very overweight and inflexible, so it was nice to be able to actually do the moves (most of them). It was hard on my wrists at first, but I just kept at it, and after a week, I can almost make it through the entire video.. not with as much grace as the ladies on the video, but it still feels like a great accomplishment. So I recommend this to anyone of any shape, size, or form... and just say... persevere! You can do it! Thanks Collage Video for having such a variety to choose from. - posted by Sherri on 2/24/2011 |

One of My Favorite Yoga DVDs |
| I love Bethany (the instructor); this is one of my favorite yoga workouts. It is perfect for a good stretch after an intense kettlebell routine or lengthy cardio. I appreciate her enthusiasm and the poses are good. I will look for more of her workouts. - posted by Anita on 3/24/2010 |

    Not a keeper |
| I ordered this DVD because of a favorable magazine review. However I found it to be TOO EASY! I really enjoy yoga but with a one year old at home I don't usually get the quiet that I like to pop in a yoga DVD. Sometimes after not doing yoga for a while I will feel particularly challenged holding the poses & I can usually really feel the stretches. Not so much while doing this. If you want to tone your legs & butt don't do this one. Try Yoga Sculpt with Karen Voight. It is really good. This hurt my knees as well. If you want relaxation and no challenge this will work. I sent it back. - posted by Melissa on 9/15/2009 |

    I Like It |
| I have tons of yoga DVDs, and power yoga is favorite. This is really enjoyable-challenging without being impossible, and the instructor is very friendly. I like the 40 minute length, because I can't always fit an hour of yoga into my day. - posted by Jamie on 7/30/2009 |
