CIA 2903: Stepping Up with Seasun Zieger |
    Disappointed |
| I love complex step workouts. I was disappointed in this workout because there was no progressive instruction to teach the sequences and several of the moves were done while your back was to the TV. It could have been a great DVD... I recommend Rob Glick. - posted by Jennie on 4/30/2012 |

Best Advanced Step Video Ever! |
| Yes, the choreography is complex and "twirly", and that's part of what makes this workout so great! I'm a 40-year-old high-intermediate/low-advanced exerciser and have been doing step since the 90's, done workouts by all the step instructors, and I'm easily bored at this point after 20 years of stepping. Seasun is THE BEST. And this workout is her best yet. The combo's flow, the choreography is challenging and creative, and the music is superb and motivating! As she says in the video, she wants this workout to have staying power, and it does. Seasun does a fantastic job of making the combo's high-intensity without killing my knees like some other workouts do. The ab section at the end is brutally difficult - I can do all the ab sections in her other videos, but this one is at a different level entirely. I have to take short breaks after the 2nd round of planks in order to get through the whole section. My only critiques of this workout are that the warmup could be a bit longer - I have to add a couple of minutes of my own warmup at the beginning to be ready for the step work that starts right away. And, using the weights under my hands for the plank section is painful to my hands. I've ended up skipping the weights for the first two rounds of planks, then using 5-lb ankle weights on my wrists for the plank section with the little lat rows, and that works well. Overall, a killer workout from a master instructor. Seasun, please keep them coming! - posted by Colleen on 12/26/2011 |

    Rreally, really hard |
| This is the first tape that I have ordered by this instructor and overall, I thought that it was a killer!!! I loved the fact that she had one of the girls doing the low-impact of this routine. I have been exercising for many years--mostly step routines and really felt challenged by this one. The ab portion seemed a bit boring. - posted by Linda on 10/29/2011 |

    Great Video |
| Love, love this workout. Seasun is one of my favorite instructors. Her workouts are complicated at first but once you get the hang of them, they are so much fun. This video, compared to her others, is easier to learn the steps. I would highly recommend this video especially to someone who wants a fun but challenging workout. - posted by Candie on 8/4/2011 |

    Tough and fun |
| This workout is a lot of fun but it is definitely not for beginners. I am 46 and consider myself advanced, but I am not yet able to do all the spins and turns she does in this tape. I am slowly getting all the variations, though, and with each one the routine gets more and more fun, so it is worth your while to attempt the more advanced moves. There is always one girl who does the whole workout with no impact and no turns or spins. The music is very good-current songs that make you want to move. The core routine is very long and very hard; solid planks for almost the whole 13 minutes. Overall a very good tape-the variations up the intensity factor, but also the fun factor. - posted by Tannis on 6/6/2011 |

    More, please! |
| Finally a video with advanced, complex choreography! Cathe, Amy, and Patrick are ok, but this is fun. Please hop, turn, and skip out another soon. - posted by Kathleen on 6/2/2011 |

    No, No, No! Maybe? |
| I am usually so positive in my reviews, but boy am I disappointed in this video! I'm giving it one star because of the very good current pop music, which is why on preview I was excited to get a new advanced step workout. Also, the demanding core work out at the end. I'm too lazy to return it and I'm a sucker for new core work. If you see the preview that's what you get. Some instructor, HA! Just calling out the steps, like at first "straddle", which really means you still tap one foot on top of the step, then in a combo or two later her "straddle" really does mean both feet will be on the outside of the step. Of course she doesn't want to "bore you to tears" explaining the steps. I got her Elvis right away because she called it on first go. Later, she uses the WRONG HAND to cue you to move in that direction, which means go the other way!! IMO you want the instructor to inspire your workout! Not "figure it out, so you'll have this DVD with a shelf life". Do you pay a tennis instructor or your children's teachers for example, to "figure it out" without first guiding? I am an advanced stepper, so I did it a second time and yes, I got almost all the steps, like remembering those errors! It's advanced and I sweat a lot. But she's a terrible instructor. Almost anybody can come up with a demanding routine. She was just lucky to know people to get her video to market and make money! There are infinitely better instructors out there. - posted by Andrea405 on 5/26/2011 |

    Very Good |
| I'm not very coordinated, but I loved the music on this DVD... I told myself that I would give myself a month to get this routine down...it took about 3 weeks, but I so enjoyed learning the routine...I place myself somewhere between them modifier and Seasun because I have bad knees, so I can't manage the back to back jumps that Seasun does, but the modifier is too simple for me...I loved this DVD so much, I'm getting Seasun's other older ones, too. - posted by Diane on 3/28/2011 |

Constant movement, Great music, advanced Level |
| Just loved the music, the moves, and the challenging format. This is one exercise video that you will be happy to work on to get those moves right.
Seasun is easy to follow, gives good cues, and has great moves - creative, fun, and fast-paced. There's even another Stepper model in the video exercising in the back to modify moves. Her job is to break up the more challenging sequences to a more doable level.
Glad I bought it. I will look for more titles from Seasun Zieger. - posted by Shauna on 1/6/2011 |

    Loved It! |
| This was such a great workout. The music is AWESOME and the step routine was just so much fun! It has a bit of a learning curve but, once I learned all the choreography, I had a blast doing the workout. - posted by Maria on 12/4/2010 |
