Chair Dancing: Sit Down & Tone Up

great workout
I had alittle bit of doubt that you could get a good workout but I am so glad that I tried it. great workout and no injuries to my legs. As you increase your weights your workout intensifies as you can handle it. Would recommend to anyone with knee or any leg issues that can not do "regular" exercise videos. - posted by Sue on 9/25/2011

Sit Down & Tone Up
Strength training for all levels of fitness from the comfort of your chair. All fitness levels will experience notable results from this convenient, motivating and balanced exercise routine. Instructions are given clearly, precisely, and timely. Because you never leave your chair any fitness level may join in these exercises. The instructor recommends that you start with light weights and do only the repetitions that you are comfortable with. Any time you tire stop and rest. "Consult with a physician before starting this or any exercise program." - posted by Peggy on 3/25/2011
Great starter video! Easy and simple to do...
I tried this video and I have to say it's great. It has 20 minutes of all over body movements that targets legs, arms and that pesky middle. In the video, they have a mixed group of people - old, young and in all kinds of shape, which is encouraging. Really fun to do from your chair, especially if you have difficulty standing or keeping your balance. Shipping was fast too! I HIGHLY recommend this video! - posted by Tam on 7/15/2010

Great Video!
My husband has many health issues and was "allergic" to exercise. He had an excuse for avoiding every type. He's 250 lbs and insulin resistant- I had to find something that would work. This video did it! He can do exercises unshaved and in his underwear if he wants and at his own pace. I'll definitely order more for a variey of workoouts. Thanks a milliion! - posted by Nancy Gallagher on 11/20/2005

my dad too has complications of diabeties. He has limited circulation to his feet, after doing those tappings and other simple steps, he feels SOOOOO much better. Thank you for having such a good tape for disabled people, making them feel normal. - posted by Maria on 11/24/2004

Reading a Time Graph
X
Each workout shows a time graph of the workout sequence, from beginning to end. For example, this workout starts with a 10-minute warm-up and ends with a 10-minute stretch. In between, you'll do aerobics, then toning, then a cooldown.

Segments that include both aerobics & toning
Some workouts combine aerobics and toning. If the aerobics and toning are done at the same time, you'll see a "blended" graph. If the aerobics and toning are done in short, alternating intervals, you'll see an "interval" graph.
