Certified instructor description: Six challenging ab workouts -- from 15 to 20 minutes each. Each program features different exercises and different workout styles. The moves range from straight-forward crunches, curls and Pilates exercises to stability and medicine ball routines. As always, Cathe's form is flawless and her cuing is superb. Note: the last part of the medicine ball workout is done with a partner. Requires a medicine ball and a stability ball. One workout uses ankle and wrist weights. ©2008. DVD has: Chapter menus.

Cathe Friedrich's STS Ab Circuits

Classic Cathe
Every one of the circuits are what you would expect from Cathe. Challenging but fun! She is an awesome instructor. You can't go wrong with any of her DVDs. Lots of variety using different equipment or none at all. Sometimes I will mix them up and do several different exercises from each of the 6 circuits. You won't be disappointed! - posted by Mary on 9/22/2011
Great Ab workout
I love this dvd! It has individual ab only workouts that you can play individually. You can choose which one you want to do. I feel I get a good ab workout and I really like Cathe and the music is nice also. She is easy to follow, she explains how to do each workout. I can do this workout for my ab and have time for another workout to work different area. Overall, great workout - posted by Sheri on 6/9/2011
My core is stronger!
Before I got Abs Circuits, my abs and core were strong enough, and I was able to complete the ab/core sections at the end of many of Cathe's other workouts. About a month ago, I started doing two Ab Circuits workouts per week, and it's already taken my core to another level! I can feel it in my movement throughout the day, as well as during workouts. I'm just stronger. I think it's the wide variety of movement in all of the different routines, plus the thorough length of each workout. I'm going to continue to use these workouts because I'm feeling great. - posted by Bobbi on 2/4/2011
Versatile and effective.
I love the options in this DVD. The exercises are challenging and different in the use of some of the equipment such as plates. I find each one of these chapters to be challenging and very effective. This is a great addition to regular workouts or could be stand alone when short on time too. The workout options on this DVD make it worth every penny. I am glad I have this in my collection. - posted by Karen on 12/30/2010
WOW!
I just love Cathe! She is a great workout and this DVD really has all aspects of a great AB workout with 12 different workouts on one DVD. I did the weights and plates one today and it was killer! I don't have hand weight or ankle weights but I held 3 lbs hand weights and I didn't need the extra challenge of the ankle weight...maybe that will be my goal! Really a good work out. Also look at Core Max by Cathe. - posted by Kate C on 12/10/2010
Yes, I can feel it in my abs
What I like the most about this tape is the diversity of the exercises; nothing feels repetitive. Some segments are easier than others but none of them are a waste of time to do. I also have Cathe's Core Max; this tape is a different format than Core Max but I find it to be equally challenging. I took off one star because there is a bit of lag time between exercises for explanations in some segments. - posted by Bonnie on 12/9/2010
so-so
I have to admit there is a boredom factor to this workout. Not sure what it is. Music is terrible! The BEST section is the plates. Something different and challenging! But, other sections? If you have core max (which I think is much better) and any other more recent workouts where she uses medicine and stability balls-you already pretty much have all the workouts. Cathe's workouts are starting to get a little redundant. She tries to "reinvent" new workouts but, seems like it's the same old...May have to look for a new fav. - posted by rebecca on 10/31/2010
Cathe just keeps gettin better
I really, really like these workouts. As usual, Cathe knows how to make you feel the burn! There are so many workouts, I feel my abs being challenged by each workout. - posted by annon. on 10/14/2010
Cathe Friedrich Ab Circuit Workout
This is the BEST Ab workout program that I have ever used!! Everyone should own this DVD! The DVD is very varied in its exercise format, tough, and thorough. Each segment is only 10 minutes long yet I have gotten measurable results in only 2 weeks! This DVD is money well spent! - posted by Trisha on 8/26/2010
Absolutely Amazing!!!!!
Cathe hit it out of the park again. This workout will test you in new and awesome ways. I love this workout. I am thoroughly sore (in an excellent way)to the core. I look forward to doing this workout again and again. Thanks, Cathe I am loving this STS Ab Circuits. I love each segment, primarily because of their diversity/variety. Thanks Cathe. - posted by Tommicena Gette on 7/8/2010

Each workout shows a time graph of the workout sequence, from beginning to end. For example, this workout starts with a 10-minute warm-up and ends with a 10-minute stretch. In between, you'll do aerobics, then toning, then a cooldown.

Segments that include both aerobics & toning
Some workouts combine aerobics and toning. If the aerobics and toning are done at the same time, you'll see a "blended" graph. If the aerobics and toning are done in short, alternating intervals, you'll see an "interval" graph.
