Certified instructor description: A super-basic workout for 5 to 10-year-olds (and their teacher). This program is designed to be done in the classroom, right before the “No Child Left Behind” tests. Research has shown that a short pre-test aerobic exercise session can greatly improve kids’ performance (by increasing blood flow, reducing anxiety and generally “getting the wiggles out”). All the moves are perfect for short attention spans — from simple marches and step-touches to jumping jacks and “crazy 8 arms”(requiring little space, all these moves are easy to do beside their desks). Perfect for your child’s teacher, or the entire school district! ©2011. DVD has: Wide screen.

This video really does get your heartbeat pumping. I use it with my kids and they love it. Basic but not boring at all. I think this instructor knows what she's doing. It is a good way to start your kids to enjoy working out. Her moves are easy enough for anyone to follow. - posted by Ms. J on 4/9/2012
Loved it!
Great way to keep kids (and moms) active this summer! My kids loved it from the first time they tried it. I'm buying a few more to give to their teachers in the fall!! I love the idea of them exercising before testing! Brilliant!! - posted by Lory on 7/12/2011
A good workout for people of all ages.
We are a homeschooling family with 8 kids. Our ages range from 1-16. We have used Kari Anderson's "Shake" for several years and wanted to try something new. We were a little skeptical of Wendy Glenna's video because the quality seemed poor on the sample clip. We gave it a try anyway because she was wearing modest clothes. Wendy is not a supermodel, just a regular person. The routine is interesting and challenging to keep all of us engaged. We highly recommend "Aerobic Exercises to Get the Mind Going". - posted by Jenny on 7/7/2011
Reading a Time Graph
X
Each workout shows a time graph of the workout sequence, from beginning to end. For example, this workout starts with a 10-minute warm-up and ends with a 10-minute stretch. In between, you'll do aerobics, then toning, then a cooldown.

Segments that include both aerobics & toning
Some workouts combine aerobics and toning. If the aerobics and toning are done at the same time, you'll see a "blended" graph. If the aerobics and toning are done in short, alternating intervals, you'll see an "interval" graph.
