Good morning.  Today was Get Ripped 1000 (only the weight exercises, hit next chapter during cardio).  Also, 2 miles on the treadmill.

Yesterday was a rest day - visited with some friends and preparations for the parteee : )

Today is Yoga night - hand stand focus (this means burn them upper bodies).

Hi everyone,

Today was 2 fast miles with Leslie, I jogged  during her marching in place and used bigger movements to raise my HR even more.  My time is short today so I wanted to get the most out of the 2 miles so you can always kick it up a knotch! :)

Making my sissy's BD cake today.  Angel food with Home Made cherry frosting.  Yummy!

Good Morning, all!


Today is beautiful out - not near as humid, so I started with a 4 mile walk/jog. From the Tonique thread, I thought I'd dust off the ol' ankle weights! I started with the LB floorwork from SS Shape It Up (w/ 5# ankle weights), and ended with Tonique Mat On The Side (w/ 2# ankle weights). Sure am glad I switched to my 2# ankle weights!! My legs are feeling it! Finished up w/ a stretch. Burned 842 total calories today!!!

Good morning to you! I hope it's going well.

I am checking in today with BBL Rio Extreme. It's from the add-on package and is a 50 minute workout consisting of about 2 minutes of sculpting followed by about 2 minutes of cardio. The entire body gets well worked -- there are usually squats, plies, and/or balance challenges combined with upper body. The cardio is mainly athletic with some impact, though modifications are shown. A couple of the cardio segments are just a bit dancy, but he teaches the move slow and you speed up. There is a floor section with chest and core work and a thorough cool down/stretch. Good fun factor, and it really does go by fast.

~Cardio Core Fusion, I don't know if it's me, but, especially in the beginning, I was out of sync with the moves & music. 
~10 minutes yoga.

Hello.
This morning I did Kickbox Xtreme.  I am actually getting the choreography.  My problem is all the jumping jacks - where is she going next, or if she goes back to a previous section.  I only had to rewind a few times though.  Little cat has been asking for food all morning.  He's on about his 3rd meal.  He's under weight so if he asks I feed.  Big cat is enjoying the balcony from the wrong side of the railing. It's  supposed to cool down this weekend.

Checking in with my class last night, all of Strong Knees this morning, and my class again tonight. Tomorrow it is my plan to do a tough weight workout.

That is a lot of cals MRS! Your meal and dessert from the other night are dust! :))

Hey y'all,

As impressive as MRS's workout was today, Bad's blue Mr. Grrr... is what really caught my attention!! and the jumping, clapping happy face.  I'm so loving these interesting posts.

Checking in with 20 min.Tread, then Amy's SloMo; using the Chapters I did Shoulders (skipped front raises, extra bent-over rear delts.), Chest (all), Back (all), Legs did the 2-set premix.  Did some of the Core work, very interesting but I subbed planks and stability ball jacknifes for the running around the step. Just don't think I'm coordinated enough for those.  I absolutely love Amy's SloMo workout.

It's hot as Hades here and you have to breathe with your mouth open or you'll fry your nose hairs.  How's that for uncouth and graphic?   Have a happy day everyone.

MRS---Way to go girl! It is amazing how much more energy you can gin up when the humidity goes down.


Checking in with Kettlebell your way to a perfect body, and the max calorie burn segment from Michelle's kettlebell work out.  I really like the one minute rests in KYWTAPB, although I know some don't.  I jog or jumping jack my way through them, although that will surely be ending when I get a heavier kettlebell and will need the time to gasp my way to recovery.


Going to my brother's cabin for the weekend, so this is my last work out till Monday.  Have a great weekend, everybody!

Managed to do Gay Gasper's 30 minute work out from Star Trainers today while trying to keep the kids busy! I had a lot of energy today though, one more night of work then the weekend!

It has been a beautiful day!  Finally some low humidity. 

Did Tracey's HISM.  Still love this one.  The combos move fast and the intervals are enough to keep the heart rate good and elevated, but not so you have to catch your breath.   Also went on a long bike ride up a lot of hills today.  I need another shower.

Checking in with Cathe's Max Intensity Strength and then Amy's KBX Warmup plus Combos/Blasts of Segments 1-2.  Great workout today!  Loved MIS -- I have never done tricep dips with a barbell on my hips before -- KILLER :)

Too tired to do a DVD today plus my neck is really sore...  So I just went for a 50 minute walk instead!!
