(Cam)

I tried these on and all I can say is that they are awkward, very awkward. I also think they look a little silly. I saw a guy wearing them at the library the other day and I kinda chuckled because he looked like he was losing his balance and kept falling a little forward. I'm sorry, but I think these shoes are gimmicky and way overpriced. It will be the fad of 2010.

Re:avia avi-motion? (Natalie)

I have only had mine for 48 hours and would not part with them.

This is what I posted on my FB page about them:
I bought some Avia "toning shoes" after reading good reviews. Expected to be a little sore this morning after wearing them several hours yesterday, but I was not. I wore them when I walked 4 miles with John and my friend Kim today, and it was like walking on air. Would have gladly walked 2 more miles in these shoes.... Was it the shoes, or was it the good company?

Re:avia avi-motion? (Denise)

They both have roomy toe boxes but Reeboks (especially the DMX series) are easier to tighten up the middle section to accomadate the thin foot. I also have narrow feet. I have tried almost every brand. I also have this problem with regular shoes.

Re:avia avi-motion? (Maureen K)

Denise

I haven't but I have really high arches and Avia shoes of any kind don't work for me. I generally stick with Reebok or Asics. Sorry I couldn't help I meant New Balance not Asics. I can't seem to keep anything straight! If you have a high arch these might work for you.

I have a high arch and instep, but so many of the shoes are too wide. I'm an average B width, but only Nike seems to work so far. I would like other options though. Do you find New Balance or Reebok to be the narrower of the two?

Re:avia avi-motion?
