My story:
I have always struggled with being overweight. I was never happy with my appearance, but had resigned myself to it after being unsuccessful at losing it. I am a stay-at-home mom with four young children, a tight budget, and a demanding schedule so I also thought I just didn't have time to worry about it.

That changed this past summer during a family vacation. We went to a beautiful state park and my family decided to hike down to see some waterfalls. I had to tell them, to my embarrassment, that I couldn't hike down because I knew I wouldn't be able to hike back up. As I sat on a rock, alone, waiting for everyone to return, I wondered how many more things in life I was going to miss out on. I knew that it was time to take charge of my own life.

Because of my family schedule and budget, exercise DVD's were my best option. (Besides that, I was too embarrassed to work out in public.) I set a few goals and started working. I noticed a difference right away. I felt better about myself, I slept better, and I had more energy. It became easier to make good food choices. I was able to break the cycle of eating because I felt bad about how I looked. The weight started melting away.

The results kept me going, and I kept trying new workouts. Collage video is the best because I can feel confident in my choices and not waste my time or money. Within 6 months I had lost 40 lbs.

I just celebrated my 30th birthday and I look and feel better than I did when I turned 20! I am wearing sizes of clothes that I have never worn before. The best part, though, is that I have gained a new sense of confidence, better health, and my family is proud of me. I feel like I have been given a new life. The one I always wanted.

I really never expected to get results like this, and wouldn't have believed anyone who told me I could. Whenever someone asks me what I've been doing, I love telling them that I'm exercising with DVD's. My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner!
